Governor Herbert announced the new Utah Aerospace Pathways program which allows students to graduate high school with a certificate in aerospace manufacturing! What does this mean for Utah students' futures? Opportunities to develop high-impact skills in a growing industry while earning credentials and eventually earn a competitive wage.
Students are not the only beneficiaries. According to DATC, the program will provide paid internships for students and help companies like Boeing, Orbital ATK, Harris, Hill Air Force Base, Hexcel, and Janiki Industries receive the trained employees they desperately need. The program's strong alliance of education and economy aims to bring opportunities, dreams and needs together to our State.
