Ready, Set, Go!

Diesel Technician Pathways Program

The following excerpt is taken from Jordan School District School Stories.

"The engines are fired up and ready to go on a brand new Diesel Technician Pathway Program for high school students. The program was rolled out at a press conference with Governor Gary Herbert, JATC students, industry leaders and the State Office of Economic Development. This program will partner industry professionals directly with students who have already begun their diesel tech education in high school programs like the one offered through the JATC at West Jordan High School. The diesel tech students will have an opportunity to graduate high school and be offered internships with one of the industry partners in Utah then receive additional higher education and hopefully move into high paying jobs in the diesel tech field. Thanks to Rocky Mountain Cummins for hosting this groundbreaking event for the state of Utah."
